Third person singular imperative of to mutate: to change the appearance, nature or state of a person, animal or thing. One day the past returned and reconnected us with what was ours. We met again in our dust-covered theater and, as we relived our acts in this new life, we felt we were mutating in unison. Mutation is constant. Let structures and people mutate to move forward, go further, higher—the hardest act yet.
Orain Bi Zirko Teatro: After training together, they began their journey in Bilbao in 2019, specializing in duo acrobatics like hand-to-hand and perch. They created MUTE, premiered in 2022 at Umore Azoka (Leioa), winning Best Show in Euskadi and launching their tour.
