Frekvence reveals the often-invisible physical effects and internal bodily reactions that occur during a performance. It explores the complex relationship between the body, mind, and technology, offering a stimulating and intense experience for both the audience and the artist. It delves into the body’s physical reactions and emotions as they respond to both external and internal stimuli.
Betka Tichá. Circus performer. She stared as a dancer at dance conservatory Duncan Centre in Prague. Afterwards She got into Czech circus community and discovered her main discipline vertical rope. With this circus specialisation, she graduated in 2020 from Codarts – University of Arts in Netherlands. Nowadays Betka’s interest is in a research of conceptual possibilities of aerial acrobatics, floor acrobatics, juggling and handstands. She continuously develops her artistic techniques and methods in contemporary circus through own author’s work and different masterclasses, for example with Sven Damey, Sylvain Cousin, Lucho Smit.
