Amidst music stands, instruments and rows of chairs, the circus takes over the space of a forty-piece band and transforms it into a dynamic universe where balls, hoops and clubs dance through the air to the melodies of clarinets, saxophones and trumpets. The six jugglers turn the concert into a collective interplay of rhythm, movement and surprise. The musicians are not mere accompanists, but become protagonists of the show, taking part in ironic and unexpected theatrical scenes.
A captivating and original show that blends contemporary circus and live music into a single theatrical experience. Tradition and innovation come together in an explosion of images, music and energy: sparkling brass, huge bass drums, classic uniforms and pop sounds blend with funk, blues and post-punk, giving life to a collective, festive and unconventional show.
Pistacatro, Premio Nacional de Circo en España 2025, is the most prominent circus company and producer of Performing Arts in Galicia. It distributes its own productions or some others that arise from the creative matrix of the Circonove project, as well as those that we consider important under criteria of quality and cultural interest. After 20 years since its establishment in 2006, Pistacatro aims to continue establishing itself as the pioneering producer of new circus trends in Galicia, opening new markets and audiences. We are a facilitator for the professionalization of circus in our land, under criteria of quality and cultural interest, while respecting the rights of workers and artists who, in some way, participate in our project. We want to be a catalyst that allows communication with other people and projects to generate culture through co-production or collaboration, remaining faithful to our bond with the audience.
