Choreographic workshop

Kala Teatro

Wednesday, 18 June 5:00-7:00 pm
Park – Outdoors

Free admission upon reservation, max. 25 participants
Recommended age: 16+

Comfortable clothing in plain colours (preferably without bright patterns or prints) is required (e.g. long, loose-fitting skirts/pants that allow movement).
The choreography workshop is aimed at young people and adults with or without dance experience and aims to create a collective choreographic action with the participants that relates to the surrounding place and space.
In a first warm-up phase, participants will be guided through physical and sensory exercises to become aware of their bodies and the space around them.
In the second phase, the focus shifts to the creative and artistic aspect of the experience. Actions and movements are simple, precise and repetitive. Each action arises from a meaningful object, each movement is a profound manifestation of a message from the soul. Selected pieces of music and poetry accompany the dance, which becomes a collective ritual.
In this workshop, dance, poetry and music intertwine to create a collective experience aimed at the deep awakening of dormant instincts. Many bodies in movement becoming one body, one “I” dissolving to enter into a deep connection with the whole of which we are a part.
